CADETS AT GRADUATION 2019

In a higher education landscape that is rife with stories of young people who've gained a lifetime of debt from their four years at college, MMA has once again appeared on some important regional and national lists for the 2019-20 academic year. Based on many different factors, and taking into account the vastly different nature of many of the colleges included in the rankings, the Academy holds up well in the categories that matter most to students and families who are looking for 1) a top notch education that 2) delivers great value and return on the four year investment with 3) opportunities that will afford them earning power throughout their careers.

A recent Boston Globe article cites a Georgetown University study in which, among many categories (including the Return on Investment), a Net Present Value (NPV) is calculated. The NPV is "how much a sum of money in the future is valued today. This metric includes costs, future earnings, and the length of time it would take to invest and earn a certain amount of money over a fixed horizon." Calculating the 40 year NPV (the most comprehensive benchmark for judging value), MMA ranks 13th nationwide, 5th for ALL colleges in Massachusetts, and 1st for public colleges in the Commonwealth. Just so we're clear on who we are...where we've been...and where we're going.
