Each Standard Classroom is equipped with a ceiling mounted projector, speakers for audio, and a VGA laptop cable. These rooms require the instructor to bring their own laptop. For additional equipment requests in a standard classroom, please contact the Helpdesk.
Each Smart Classroom is equipped with a video projector, speakers for audio, 48’ podium, computer, laptop VGA cable, VHS/DVD player, and document camera.
Computer Lab Classrooms
Each Computer Lab Classroom is equipped with a ceiling mounted projector, speakers for audio, 24” or 48” podium, computer, and laptop VGA cable. In addition to the equipment for the instructor, there are computer workstations available for the students.
Lecture Hall Classrooms
Each Lecture Hall Classroom is equipped with a ceiling mounted projector(s), speakers for audio, 24” or 48” podium, computer, laptop VGA cable, laptop HDMI cable, VHS/DVD Player and a Document Camera.
The nine simulation labs at MMA provide a highly reliable virtual environment which enables measurable assessment of individuals in training. With the ability to choose over 100 vessels, from a RIB to over 500 tons, in over 120 ports around the world -- the experience obtained is immeasurable. It’s as real as it gets without getting wet!
Connecting Laptops and Other Devices to Projectors in the Classrooms
All classrooms have a VGA cable available to connect a laptop to the projector. Most laptops contain a VGA input to connect the VGA cable. If you are using a Mac, tablet, or phone, you’ll need to purchase an adapter to connect to the VGA cable. Below are examples of adapters you might need.
