Learning Outcomes

After completing the General Education Requirements in Science and Mathematics students will be able to:

  1. explain and apply theories of physics and chemistry in relevant contexts;
  2. identify and explain specialized terms of physics and chemistry;
  3. identify and employ applicable tools, technologies, and methods when presented with questions and problems involving physics, chemistry, algebra, trigonometry, and calculus; and
  4. use scientific methods and mathematical principles when reasoning and making decisions in the context of their everyday lives.
