About the role:
As the Senior Maintenance Mechanic for Takeda, you will report to the head of Facilities. You will perform scheduled and corrective maintenance of Process and Utility System equipment used to manufacture biological therapeutics. You will comply with all Takeda procedures that ensure safety and regulatory compliance. You will work as a team member responsible for the efficient and reliable operation of systems and equipment. You will contribute to continuous improvement designed to improve the efficiency. You will provide support to the operations team responsible for efficient and reliable operations of all building systems.
How you will contribute:
You will have a high school diploma or equivalent.
You will perform scheduled and corrective maintenance on Process and Utility System and equipment.
You will perform planned and corrective maintenance on Autoclaves and Glasswashers: Clean In Place Systems; Robot Bottle Processing Systems; Product Storage and processing systems (e.g., Ultrafiltration Skids).
You will respond to unplanned equipment outage events.
You can diagnose and repair equipment and systems in a time efficient, right-the-first time manner.
You will provide guidance for experienced contractors working to supplement our team efforts, insuring work is performed in compliance with all Takeda regulatory and business practice expectations.
You will provide support to the Operations team to insure cohesive plant operations are maintained and sustained.
