The company provides quality products for customer solutions to steam and hydronic heating systems. We are a manufacturers representative that offers technical and engineering expertise on the products we sell. We are currently looking for an inside/outside technical sales representative who can work with our customers to solve their technical challenges, using the products and services we offer.

Full Job Description

Duties Include:
• Growing relationships with our existing customers
• Generating business with both new and existing customers
• Reviewing customer’s requirements and assisting in the development of technical solutions
• Continuously learning and expanding knowledge of our products
• Performing sales presentations and training sessions
• Reporting results of sales efforts to management, as required
• Calling on and assisting Mechanical, Specifying and Consulting Engineers

• Able to quickly learn the product line and continually keep pace with changes in the industry

• Self-motivated, capable of working in an often fast-paced environment with little supervision
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record

Job Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree (engineering/technical preferred), or equivalent work experience
• Experience: Minimum (2) years Outside Technical Sales preferred
• Preference given to a candidate with Commercial HVAC and/or Industrial Sales experience
• CAD experience a plus
• Knowledge of commercial steam and hydronic systems (valves, pumps, boilers) a definite plus
• Proficiency with MS Word, Email, and PowerPoint to effectively to effectively communicate with customers
• Travel required on an as needed basis; within sales region (Eastern MA, RI, NH and ME)

Qualifications B.S. in Engineering/ Technical preferred
