General Statement of Duties: Teaching 3-credit International Maritime Business (IMB) elective course to include preparation, classroom meetings, student support, and grading. Classes meet three hours per week (evening and daytime schedules are available). Courses are typically taught to juniors and seniors who have foundational business and maritime knowledge. IMB electives are intended to be a specialized extension of their foundational learning. We are specifically seeking adjunct faculty to teach information systems courses (e.g., e-Business Concepts or Cybersecurity) and any variety of maritime business courses (e.g., Ship Financing or Maritime Autonomy). Interested candidates should suggest courses they are uniquely qualified to teach.
Qualification:
- Masters degree or terminal degree in relevant discipline
Preferred Experience:
- Professional experience in a relevant discipline(s)
- Teaching experience at the undergraduate level
Requested Salary Range: Per governing contract
