SK Marine Electronics, a comprehensive marine electronics provider, is looking for a FULL/PART TIME SUMMER Marine Electronics Technicians to assist our team in the South Coast/ Cape Cod/ Rhode island area. We are a certified dealer for all major brands of Marine Electronics. The ideal candidate must have knowledge of the principles of electricity, skills and the ability to work independently or with a team of installers. Major Responsibilities: • Demonstrates an ability to design and install an integrated marine electronic systems. • Exhibits the ability and knowledge to solve most marine electronic issues on board vessels, with effective and efficient trouble shooting techniques. • Demonstrate professional customer service skills. • Ability to provide proper documentation. • Maintaining accurate records of time spent performing the services requested by the customer and expenses incurred on the job. Requirements: • Possess a demonstrated ability and knowledge of the principals of electricity • Ability to comply with all established methods, quality standards and time schedules applicable to this position. • Possess sufficient technical skills to work independently or as a member of a team of installers. • Should own the proper basic tools. • Ability to work from drawings and technical manuals. • Must have valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to the customer’s job site. • Frequent overtime may be required during peak seasons.

Qualifications • Associate’s Degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • NMEA and ABYC certification or willing to obtain. • USCG Captains L
Compensation $18-20 /hour based on experience
