Marine Electronics Technician

Location: New Bedford

• Demonstrates an ability to design and install an integrated marine electronic systems.
• Exhibits the ability and knowledge to solve most marine electronic issues on board with effective and efficient trouble shooting techniques.
• Demonstrate professional customer service skills.
• Ability to provide proper documentation.
• Maintaining accurate records of time spent performing the services requested by the customer and expenses incurred on the job.
• Possess a demonstrated ability and knowledge of the principals of electricity
• Ability to comply with all established methods, quality standards and time schedules applicable to this position.
• Possess sufficient technical skills to work independently or as a member of a team of installers.
• Must have basic carpentry and mechanical skills.
• Must own basic tools.
• Ability to work from drawings and technical manuals.
• Must have valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to the customer’s job site.
• Frequent overtime may be required during peak seasons.
