General Responsibilities: in collaboration with key Advancement staff, the Annual Fund Officer is responsible for planning, managing, implementing and evaluating the annual giving mass outreach programs and initiatives including, but not limited to: direct mail, cadet philanthropy, giving days/challenges, phonathon/engagement center and crowdfunding. Must be able to work collaboratively and cross functionally within the Advancement Office and across the Academy to secure new donors and retain existing donors to achieve key performance goals.
Qualifications and requirements: Bachelor’s degree and three years of experience in a fundraising environment. Knowledge of fundraising principles and ability to meaningfully participate in a complex development program; high comfort level with data, data analysis and relational database software capacity to embrace the MMA mission and to professionally advocate for it and for philanthropy at the Academy; solid verbal, writing, editing and proofreading skills; demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Salary: $45,000 to $52,000. The Academy offers generous benefits policies and a competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. This position is exempt under FLSA.
