The Facilities Manager oversees all aspects of building maintenance and supervise all maintenance staff and contractors. He/she will oversee renovations and improvements, new construction projects, repairs and upkeep of facilities. As project manager of all maintenance activities, he/she will prioritize work, schedule projects and manage project budgets.

Full Job Description

The Facilities Manager ensures that projects and programs meet objectives, including budget and schedule. He/she also works as a key member of the leadership team to help drive initiatives. Maintains all aspects of building upkeep, both inside and outside. Responsible for oversight of vendors. Ensures that grounds and walkways are maintained and safe. Supervises facilities staff, prepares work schedules and delegates assignments. Available on-call as needed and provides weekend and holiday coverage for emergency repairs.

Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management or related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years’ facilities management experience required.
