Electrical Machines Instructor: The successful candidate will have theoretical knowledge and practical hands-on ability in the design and operation of marine shipboard electrical systems & electrical power distribution systems. The instructor will teach cadets in AC/DC Motors & Circuits, Electrical Theory, Transformers, HV & MV Distribution, Troubleshooting. Potential Courses/Labs to be taught: Electrical Machines Lab
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelors’ degree in the subject matter
- Minimum of three years of teaching experience or professional experience in relevant discipline(s)
- Have held an unlimited Second Assistant Engineer license or greater, or currently possess a current Third Assistant Engineer’s license, and
- Demonstrated work history, teaching and practical experience in the subject concentration
