Welcome, Teachers -

Our wide variety of projects and activities have been designed to educate and engage students participating in the Follow The Voyage - Share The Experience Program, while connecting them to what is happening aboard the TS Kennedy. They incorporate science, mathematics, social studies, language arts, and fine arts.  Most of the projects and activities were created exclusively for Massachusetts Maritime Academy. Click on one of the subject bars and begin exploring!

There is a grade level band below each activity name. Green indicates the activity’s targeted audience. Yellow identifies grade levels that may also enjoy the activity. Because no two classes and no two students are alike, we recommend that each teacher takes some time to review the projects and activities with his/her class in mind. Just about every activity can be modified to use with younger students or extended to challenge older students. We encourage teachers to adapt the projects and activities in any way that they best see fit.

We would love to have you share photos of your class completing one or more of the projects and activities. We also welcome outstanding samples of student work. Captain Campbell and the cadets enjoy hearing from students.
