FTV Project Gallery: Cadets With Sextants Inspire A Poem About Starts (Bridgewater, MA)

Students in Bridget Eileen Hernandez’s special needs class at Bridgewater Raynham High School know that cadets majoring in Marine Transportation have their eyes on the stars.  While the cadets are using their sextants and bright stars to help them plot the TS Kennedy’s location at sea, the student wrote this poem inspired by the song, Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star.

Twinkle Twinkle little star

How I wonder what you are

A short lived life

Buzz Lightyear takes a wife

Twinkle Twinkle little star

How I wonder what you are

Up in space and out at night

Its made of nuclear light

Twinkle Twinkle little star

How I wonder what you are

Gravity and fusion made

I am not afraid

Twinkle Twinkle little star

How I wonder what you are
