Last year at this time, 1/C Michael Clapp of Metairie, Louisiana was completing his commercial shipping assignment aboard the Oversea Nikiski, a chemical tanker operating in the Gulf Of Mexico. The Oversea Nikiski is owned by OSG, the Overseas Shipholding Group.
The ship loaded in Port Arthur, Texas, home to the largest oil refinery in the United States. The Overseas Nikiski discharged in Port Everglades, Florida where the TS Kennedy will dock on February 10th.
