Cadet Spotlight: Family Pets Help Out With The Packing Process

binoculars

According to the article, How Does My Dog Know When I’m Going On Vacation? (cvets.net – May 2020), pets are able to understand when their owners are about to go away on a trip without them.

"Your dog knows that something is up the second your luggage comes out of the closet.  Dogs are able to recognize things by a combination  of an object's appearance and scent.  Just as your dog has a relationship with his most loved ball, he also has one with your suitcase.  However, in this case, the association is not a happy one..."

If this is true, then there are a whole lot of dogs and cats that aren’t too crazy about sea bags.

Check out these photos of family pets getting up close and personal with their cadet’s sea bag during the packing process.  You can be sure that the cadets will miss these four-legged, furry family members while they are at sea.
