"What's up, fellow seamen?

The past few days have been wicked wild. It has finally seems like I am getting into the flow of how the ship works and my duties on the ship.  The weather the fast few days has been incredible. My favorite part is the warm weather and the fresh sea breeze. The sunsets on the water are incredible and the view from the Helo Deck has been amazing.

For the past week, my division (Division 3) has been on utilities. My duties have included trash compactor watch, which wasn't the most fun job.  It was just a lot of sitting and waiting for someone to bring us trash to take out. But one of the more fun parts was getting to know the people in my division a lot better and become more acquainted with them and who they are.

I have been thoroughly enjoying myself and have been experiencing many new things.  Can't wait for Puerto Rico!"
