Hello, Followers -

We’re back underway after a couple days off in St Thomas! It was incredible. This week I’m on utility for two days, then training for two. Today I had trash compactor duty and primarily tied up cardboard to prepare for offloading it in Ft. Lauderdale.

Tomorrow, I have extra scullery, so I’ll be washing the Mess Deck’s dishes and cleaning up after all the meals.

I’m very excited to start training though, because I’m on engine side. I’ll be doing some really cool hands on
stuff, so I’ll definitely be sharing some photos soon of things we work on during that!

Thanks for your blog, Mary!  I am always glad when you mention the day-to-day jobs that our student followers might not think of.  The cadets and crew members generate a lot of trash.

We will look forward to hearing about the projects that you'll do in the Engine Lab.
