“Being a role model is the most powerful form of education.”

From the moment cadets boarded the TS Kennedy on January 2nd, the learning began.  In the Engine Room, cadets were taught, guided, inspired, motivated, directed, and supported by five great role models.  These five men encouraged cadets to take risks, face challenges with confidence, and work as a team.

Thanks to these role models, 1/C cadets are leaving the TS Kennedy ready to tackle passing the U.S. Coast Guard exams, graduating from Massachusetts Maritime Academy, and securing a job in the industry.  3/C and 4/C cadets are leaving the TS Kenney with a firm foundation that they will continue to build upon in the years to come.
