Community Service & Volunteering

Welcome to the Massachusetts Maritime Academy Community Service page!

The mission is simple; involve Massachusetts Maritime Academy Cadets in local events both on and off campus making a difference in others lives and the community all while having fun. A list of the organizations which we have been a part of can be seen below and we look to increase our participation each and every year. We feel as though the outlook here on campus and in the immediate community hold so much potential for continued growth of the program. We truly believe that as individuals and as a Regiment of Cadets we have accomplished great things and have the potential for even more to come.

·       ALS Cliff Walk
·       Americorps
·       Army Corps of Engineers
·       Battleship Cove
·       Big Brothers & Big sisters
·       Bourne Community Center
·       Canal Kids Running Club
·       Cystic Fibrosis Walk
·       Escape the Cape Triathlon
·       Operation Reel Heroes
·       Scallop Festival
·       Special Olympics
·       Youth Opportunities Unlimited

With this all being said, it is not at all about us or the Academy, but rather about those who we assist. If you are someone looking to have cadets from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy become involved with an organization you do not see listed  above, please feel free to contact the Community Service Program Coordinator Lieutenant Nehemiah Jordan.

Requests may be presented via email sent to njordan@maritime.edu
