The Massachusetts Maritime Academy Center for Maritime Training is dedicated to providing specialized professional training programs for seagoing and maritime operations personnel. Custom training programs for the maritime industry can also be provided.

*Spring 2009 Small Arms Training*

Twenty Mass Maritime cadets recently participated in the Small Arms Familiarization Program, which was hosted by the Center for Maritime Training on two different weekends.  Over the course of two days, these students received training in piracy mitigation, use of force, small arms safety, and marksmanship.  The cadets ultimately fired seven different weapons, including the AK-47 Assault Rifle.
