Massachusetts Maritime Academy - Welcome INSLC 18 - Welcome
“How Educators Around the Globe are Using the Dynamic Environment of Simulation for Effective Teaching”
    The International Maritime Lecturers Association (IMLA) and Massachusetts Maritime Academy (MMA) are very pleased to announce that INSLC 18, the International Navigation Simulator Lecturers' Conference, will be in Plymouth, Massachusetts, USA with presentations on the campus of Massachusetts Maritime Academy from Sept. 12 (Friday) through Sept. 15 (Monday) of 2014.

The conference will include:

  • A welcome reception on the evening of Sept. 12,
  • Conference sessions on the campus of Massachusetts Maritime Academy Sept. 13-15,
  • A tour of the various simulators at MMA including the very exciting 360o full-mission bridge simulator,
  • A complete spousal/partner/traveling companion program
  • Excursions to local historic sites like the Plimoth Plantation and the New Bedford Whaling Museum
  • A closing cocktail party and dinner reception with entertainment, and
  • An optional full-day trip to Boston, MA and/or Salem, MA, both rich in maritime history.

Accommodations have been arranged in the historic town of Plymouth, MA, a short distance from the campus of Massachusetts Maritime Academy. Transportation from Plymouth to MMA will be provided daily.
