General Statement of Duties: Performs overall administrative support including phone coverage, mail, calendar management, minutes of meetings, data entry, gift entry, travel arrangements, basic prospect research, direct mail management and other special projects. Creates and revises systems and procedures by implementing operating practices, recordkeeping systems, forms control, office layout, and budgetary requirements. Coordinates preparation of reports and data. Maintains inventory by checking stock, anticipating need, and placing supply orders. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Applicants must have at least (2) years of full-time or equivalent part-time experience working in an office. Education may be substituted for all or part of the requisite experience. Ability to use Microsoft Office products and learn and utilize computer systems. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, ability to deal tactfully with others and to operate general office equipment. Aptitude for maintaining current and consistent data as part of ongoing programming and initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications: Clerical experience at an institution of higher education, with considerable familiarity with higher education practices, policies, and procedures. College degree.
Salary: Biweekly: $1,347.42 (Group 13/Step 1) Annual: $35, 032.92 (Group 13/Step 1)
*Shift & Days Off: 8:00 a.m. –4:00 p.m. (Days off Saturday and Sunday) *Initial assignment only – subject to change according to Administration
