Explosives and Incendiary Devices & Incident Response to Terrorist Bombings

This one day course is provided by Security Awareness Services of Waquoit, MA and is intended for Vessel, Company and Facility Security Officers as well as anyone else having security responsibilities in the Maritime field.

Course Description:

This is a two part course: Part I (3 hours) deals with both improvised explosives and improvised incendiary devices (Identification and Components).  Part II ( 4 hours) is the DHS/NDPC (National Diaster Preparedness Consortium) course "Incident Response to Terrorist Bombings"  (IRTB)  The IRTB course awards 0.4 CEUs.

The course provides a number of hands on, inert devices designed to give the student a feel for both the reality and gravity of what is being taught.

Course completion certificates will be awarded for both parts of the course.

All courses are offered on Friday.
