General responsibilities: Works closely with the Vice President of Enrollment Management in the development and implementation of data management and targeted recruitment and enrollment goals. Represents MMA at various recruitment events, such as college fairs, orientations, outreach programs, school visits, open houses, open ship programs and the like. Oversees Admission Counselors to effectively manage and monitor all resources pertaining to ensure optimal efficiency of student inquiries. Assists the Vice President of Enrollment Management with all aspects of admissions planning and office management. Assists in developing brochures, bulletins, catalogues and related publications for dissemination of information to prospective applicants. Responsible for the development and implementation of programs and initiatives that support the Academy’s mission and values. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the admission policies and procedures, which are aligned with the MABHE. Works closely in mentoring the cadet Regimental Training and Retention Officer. Participates in orientation-registration programs, meetings, convocations, commencement, military inspections and review, and other related activities of the Academy. May be assigned an at-sea billet. Some nights, weekends, and holidays will be expected to work. This is a uniformed position.

Qualifications and requirements: Bachelors degree required along with prior experience in a lead college admissions role. At least 5-years experience in higher education, in Admissions or Student Services. Demonstrated knowledge and ability in the following areas: recruiting, enrollment requirements, marketing, team leadership, budget management, student advising and information technology literacy skills. Be able to utilize social media to capture potential leads and market MMA. 

Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree. Knowledge and understanding of MMA mission, regimented lifestyle and admission process. Ellucian Recruiter. 

Salary:  $65,000-$75,000; this position has been designated as FLSA exempt.  The Academy offers generous benefit policies and a competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
