Supervision exercised: Supervises subordinate personnel in area of responsibility

General responsibilities: Assist in the development and implementation of business plan, recruitment of outside groups, and coordination of Academy Camps & Conferences events. Assist in developing marketing materials such as brochures, bulletins, catalogues and related publications. Assist with negotiations for space, contracts, food and beverage. Identify and target potential clients, determine destination and assignment of events, and develop methods to assess customer satisfaction. Responsible for generation of revenue and making recommendations to strengthen operating procedures. Assist in preparation of rate schedules and cost analysis summaries for Camps & Conferences.   

Qualifications and requirements: Bachelors degree required. Excellent communication and public relations skills, including writing and speaking. Excellent interpersonal skills, both in person and by phone, with high professionalism. Ability to take an active role in marketing programs, anticipate project needs and meet deadlines. Ability to assist in compiling billing information, maintain proper accounts and related reports, and conduct inventories. Knowledge of the types and availability of public and private organizations used for the acquisition of supplies, materials, and equipment. CPR and First Aid Certifications.   

Salary: $45,000 - $52,000.  The Academy offers generous benefit policies and a competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
