 Commercial Maritime Training includes STCW courses, advanced professional training, renewals and emergency management programs. Custom training can also be arranged to help your company achieve its training objectives. The Center for Maritime and Professional Training also offers the Advanced Shiphandling in Manned Models Program. This program is a unique training module designed for senior-level officers and pilots who wish to enhance their knowledge of the art of shiphandling. The Manned Models program has been approved by the U.S. Coast Guard for Officers wishing to raise their license to the senior level. ECDIS- Electronic Chart Display Information Systems We are pleased to now offer USCG Approved ECDIS Training. The OUPV/100 Ton Master License program provides certification for the individual seeking to obtain a USCG license to carry passengers for hire. Offered in two formats, day and evening, classes can easily fit into a busy schedule. Testing is done right here at the Academy. Marine Education & Training offers courses for the recreational boater and fishing community. Courses include topics in navigation, safety, engine maintenance, and welding. Our OPA-90 Qualified Individual (QI) Program is known throughout the country for its excellence in content and instructional staff. Our Basic Firearms Safety course is approved by the NRA and Massachusetts State Police for students wishing to obtain a firearms permit.
