The below information should be provided to all friends and family that may have an interest in the upcoming Sea Term. Mail should be sent via AIRMAIL only, posted about ten days prior to our arrival date. Only packages received from our campus will be accepted aboard because of our security measures. Please contact any of the below officers if you need to have critically important materials be sent to the ship.
All ship’s crew and cadets may register for an email account that uses satellites. Unlike shore side systems, this system charges for each message, based upon the quantity of text. The system can handle attachments and pictures, but users should be warned that this can drive up the cost significantly.
Precede all addresses with:
NAME, CADET DIVISION OR CREW POSITION
Friends and relatives may access information relating to the status of the voyage, the cadets, the ship and her crew online at www.maritime.edu and click on “Sea Term 2015”.
Concerned persons may email the Academy’s Sea Term email account at: firstname.lastname@example.org. A duty officer will respond during business hours. In the event of an emergency, please contact one the Academy officers listed below:
