This course will concentrate on preparing the student for the Massachusetts Grade 5C Wastewater Certification Exam Textbooks Required: Operation of Wastewater Treatment Plants – Volume #1, Operation of Wastewater Treatment Plants – Volume #2, and Industrial Waste Treatment - Volume 1, 7th Edition Program Cost: $1050.00 Course Code: CE-0400-02 WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT OPERATIONS (INDUSTRIAL) Preparation for the 4I Operator Certification This course will provide an overview of the basic concepts of physical and chemical treatment, the function of related equipment and support systems and the environmental responsibilities required to safely and properly operate, maintain and manage an Industrial Wastewater Treatment Facility. This course will review typical industrial wastewater treatment processes and equipment; their purpose, their function, and their safe and efficient operation. Related support systems, math, and safety will also be emphasized.
