Spectacle Island Marina is intended for the use and enjoyment of the recreational boater. The marina is made available by Boston Harbor Island Alliance to provide access for boaters to the Boston Harbor Island national park area. A portion of fees collected are to help preserve the park's natural resources, to minimize impact and to raise awareness of the Boston Harbor Islands.
Please boat responsibly and be considerate of others. Spectacle Island is owned by the City of Boston and the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation. Spectacle Island Marina is operated by Massachusetts Maritime Academy Division of Marine Operations under contract to the Boston Harbor Islands Alliance.
Recreation boaters are invited to dock their vessels at the marina for a nominal fee. Cadets of Massachusetts Maritime Academy will assist in the docking, process fees and provide information packages about the Marina and Spectacle Island's many attractions.
