There will be a Blood Drive on 29 and 30 May to be held in the Hurley Library first deck in support of the Cape Cod Health Care System.  On 30 May the Dana Farber Cancer Institute from Boston will also be in the Hurley Library for those individuals who would like to participate or may have questions about becoming part of the bone marrow match program.  We greatly appreciate your time and consideration and as always you do make a difference.  Thank you, LCDR Page

REVISED 3/C & 2/C MENG & MTRA:  The Lifeboatman Exam, LB – 0202, makeup will be Wednesday, 5 June @ 1600 in HA 101.  You must sign up now through June 5 outside the Academic Deans Office, 1st Floor Harrington Bldg.  Results of the LB Exam taken May 1 have been emailed to you; the exam is an STCW/Licensing requirement.  

ATTENTION:  All 1C MTRA & MENG Cadets planning to graduate June 2013 must return your Merchant Mariner Credentials (MMC’S) to the STCW/Licensing Office of CDR Huhnke.  They are due no later than Monday, 3 June.  If you do not return the MMC, you will not receive your documents.   Thank you for your attention & cooperation to the matter.

REMINDER for all 1/C CADETS PLANNING TO GRADUATE:  Maintenance is a graduation requirement and all 1/C cadets must complete 7 semesters of Maintenance prior to June 22.  Your diploma and/or license will be withheld until your requirement is complete.  For questions regarding hours and scheduling make-up hours, see Ms. Nancy McGinn on the T.S. ATTENTION ALL CADETS  Academy policy dictates that ALL CADETS will possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) before the end of September in their third semester of study.  All present Fourth Class cadets will provide Ms.Carol Sylvia, Staff Assistant, COMCAD Office, with two copies of their TWIC - front and back on each sheet - before 20 September 2013.  The TWIC Enrollment process starts online at www.tsa/TWIC and requires at least one visit in person to a TWIC Enrollment Center, the closest to the Academy is in Carver, MA.  Cost of the TWIC is $129.75, payable by bank check or credit card. BE ADVISE THERE IS A 6-8 WEEK PROCESSING FOR TWIC CARDS
