09/03/09 Family Day 2009

Dear Family and Friends of the Academy,

It is my pleasure to invite you to visit our campus and be part of Family Day 2009. On Saturday 3 October we will host Family Day, a day designed to provide an opportunity to watch college football and women's volleyball, tour the campus, learn about our upcoming sea term and to meet some of our staff. Captain Tom Bushy will discuss highlights of our winter sea term.

After the athletic events we will conduct a sunset ceremony in front of the U.S.S. Constitution Mast in Memorial Park. The Recognition ceremony highlights the Class of 2013's transition from Cadet Candidates to full-fledged members of the Regiment of Cadets.

I have enclosed a schedule of the day's activities. There is a $15.00 charge per person, which includes tailgate barbeque and admission to the football game and volleyball game. There is no charge for cadets and children under 12. Tickets will be sold only on the day of the event. I sincerely hope you join us in what is expected to be a very exciting day!
