Action Items:
Winter invoices must be paid by Dec 4, 2009. You will be able to pay your invoice on-line, in person to the business office, or mail a check to student accounts. The winter term invoice will include all transactions for the 2009 2010 academic year. FAILURE TO PAY BY THE DUE DATE OF DECEMBER 4TH WILL RESULT IN EXCLUSION FROM THE SEA TERM.
Students who have not signed up for the e-bill will not be able to register for classes.
Two $500. APA need based scholarships are available for 2/C and 3/C cadets in good academic standing. Applications are available in Comcad. Please return applications to CDR Kelleher.

The MMA Scholarship Committee is now accepting applications from eligible students for a small number of need-based Sea Term Scholarships sponsored by the MMA Parents Association and others for the 2010 Sea Term. If you would like to apply, check your email inbox for an application. If you did not receive an email application, contact Kristine Esdale at kesdale@maritime.edu to request a copy. Applications must be submitted by 1200 on 27 November 2009.
The 4/C 'Cruise Round Table' is scheduled for Wednesday, 2 Dec at 1530 in Admirals Hall. This is a required meeting for all 4/C. Captains Bushy and Rozak will present information regarding the upcoming Cruise and will have a Question and Answer period.
The Graduate & Continuing Education office is offering the CFC Universal Grade Certification Preparation and Exam on December 11th & 12. The cost of the course is $135. Registration may be completed in the Graduate & Continuing Education office from 1000 - 1600 or on-line.
Start Smart Campus Workshop for Women Thurs 3 Dec 1700-2000 Blinn Hall. This workshop teaches young women how to benchmark the salary for the job they want once they graduate from college, and how to negotiate for the salary they deserve for that job. Register in Career Services if interested; it will be open to the first 30 1/C and 2/C cadets who sign up. Pizza and soda will be served.

The MMA Student Athletic Advisory Committee is collecting warm weather clothes for several local shelters. Donations will be accepted in all sizes and can be dropped off in the equipment manager's office located in the back of the gym until 1 December.
